My buddy and I had a game earlier today; my Blood Angels versus his Chaos Space Marines and we are both still figuring out our armies so it was a heck of a battle. My question is this, he fields a unit of Khorne lesser daemons (Bloodletters) I believe and he stated the entire unit comes with power weapons, all 10 of them or so. Is this true? or are they normal close combat weapons?

Bloodletters all have power weapons, buuuuut they are a unit from from a different Codex, so his Chaos Marines can't use them. The lesser daemons that Chaos Marines summon have a single ordinary CCW

He may well be using the 3rd edition codex however - if he is using Damonic Gifts in order to making a daemon prince from a chaos lord then he will be. In 3.5 you could have bloodletters, and they did indeed have power weapons.

I believe he is using the most up to date Chaos Space Marine codex.

Then it's regular CCW, in the Chaos Daemon codex however Bloodletters have power weapons.
