though i already have alot of chaos armies i just put together a new legion hasnt been painted yet

Chaos Space Marines 8 Troops + Melta Gun = 130 pts

Chaos Space Marines 8 Troops + Plasma Gun + Chaos Rhino + Dozer Blade + Extra Armour + Mounted Havoc Launcher = 205 pts

Thousand Sons 12 troops + Aspiring Sorcerer + Doombolt =346pts

Fast Attack:
Chaos Bikers 6 Bikers + Tzeentch Icon + Plasma Gun X 2 = 268pts

Where on earth did you get these point totals from??? They are all way off.

i calculated the points based on the chaos marines codex

Chaos lord cost 90 points + mark of tzeentch 15 points termi Armour = 30 points total comes to 135 points

chaos marines 15 points each and i have 8 troops per squad 8 X 15 = 120......hmmmm....135

ok chaos marines total comes to 135 per each squad...my bad
Rubic marines 23 X 12 =275 + Sorcerer 60=335 + doom bolts = 340 points in total
Chaos Rhino 1= 35 points +Dozer blade + Extra Armour + Mounted havoc launcher = 200 points in total/w Chaos Marines

Chaos Bikers 6 X 33 + tzeench icon 40 points + 2X Plasma weapons 30 points = 268 points in total

total army value is now : 1343

He probably has the wrong function enabled on his calculator or something...

Anyway Scorpionov, please look at the unit costs in the Chaos Codex again and recalculate your army. We will be happy to help you out once we have a good starting point.

Edit: I saw your updated costs. Since your army costs 1343, you might want to add in a few units and round up the cost to 1500 as that is a common army size for a lot of battles.

First, your points are way off. Second I don't really see this being at all competitive.

Why are you fielding almost 4500 points? Its essentially a 1750point gunline list with no balls. Prepare to be stomped.

hey we are not all math magicians

Its not that I am a math magician, check my previously posted army lists and you will see minor discrepencies with my own lists...but none of them have a 2400 point gap missing.

When I first started the hobby it was difficult at the very beginning for me to understand the points system. Mostly because I was young and never played a game like this. I was just trying to be helpful. Sorry.

As for the list, even at 1800 points, you have no armour. The opposing players that play MEQ and MECH lists out there will walk up and down the field hammering you with their tanks. All you have to combat those are 1 eight man unit on CSMs with a melta gun. They won't last long. You have some decent units, but none are helping you get to your final goal. Look at every game as being able to take on all types opponents and play styles, not just 1. This will help you become more succesful in the game.

Just my 2 cents, sorry for the rant...
