What are the worst army lists you've ever seen?

My one would be one this kid made up and was claiming to be "the best 500 point list ever!!" It consisted of:-

. The Sanguinor
. 1 Unit of Sanguinary Guard



What terrible ones have you heard of?

Well, it reall depends on what size game you are talking about. I've watched a 500 point squad, a Deathwatch squad, get obliterated but an Earthshaker shell in one game.

Similarly, I saw a Nurgle chaos army once, prolly around 1500 points with a single squad of plague marines and all plague demons as its other troop choices save for a single nurgling unit.

Played against a sister of battle player once. His army list was 3 pages long. The first page consisted entirely of his inquistor and retinue......

umm...yea I won that won handily. (Favorite opponent I've ever played though!)

Worse list ever?
1 Captain w/ power sword and stormbolter (on his own not deployed with anyone)
1 tactical squad
1 combat squad
1 Whirlwind

Any list that has won a tourney..and any power gaming lists..

...No list or selection is really terribad.


I mean

Sanguinor + Sanguinary guard is pretty cool if you are a kid its a shame many older gamers feel they don't have the balls to field this kind of list. Unless its all about comp lists, in which case, each to their own.

Well yeah a kid may love the idea of golden angels pouncing on people and stuff, but any gamer with a hint of experience will notice that it wasn't even a legal army to begin with...

Worst list I saw was

2 DC Squads with upgrades out the wazoo
