Eternal Plague

Hello Jed!

Let us take a look at your list:

HQ:

Warboss is fine. Nothing else really is needed for him.

Elites:

Lootas are a fine addition to many ork armies. Not sure I approve of 3 squads of ten, as you can smush them together to make them more resilient, as losing 3 in either squad means they bolt fairly quickly.

Troops: This is where the list becomes fragmented and lacking in cohesions. For orks, you need to decide upon a style of play and stick with it.

Nob Bikers- a troop option with the boss. They are all uniquely equipped I assume. I suggest a big choppa for a few of the orks, but that is your call.

Ork Trukk boyz- in a list featuring 2 other threats at the same or relative speed, this is bad. Expect these boyz to be slogging a great deal of the time as many lists will ignore the bikers and shoot down the trukk boyz, effectively forcing them to hoof it with the 30 ofher boyz. If you decide to keep them, add in a Big Mek with KFF and turn the other boyz into trukk boyz as well, and equip all with choppas and sluggas.

Ork slogging blob mob- Tad too slow to follow the other boyz. If they are sloggers, make them shoota boyz. I suggest eliminating them altogether, especially if these are your objective holders.

'eavy support:
2 Looted Wagons- also out of place. What would be a better point investment would be to make them count as battlewagons. Give them grot riggers, armor plates, and a deffrolla. Give the shoota boyz a ride in the wagons, and add in a KFF Big Mek.

By cutting out 15 Lootas (or about 225 points I believe), you can have another BW, and cut the other 15 Lootas into five man units. Individually weak when attacked, but still very potent as they are probably going to get ignored.

With any remaining points- throw in some deffkoptas with rokkits and buzzsaws. Ork armies practically need these to hunt down the mechanized aspects of rival armies. Denying the opponent movement so your army can run them over is a great strategy.

As of right now, this is my current list:

HQ Options-

Ork Warboss on Warbike, Powerklaw, Bosspole, Cybork Body, Attack Squig -155 Points

Big Mek with Kustom Force Field- 85 points

Elite Options-

5 Nob Bikers- 2 Powerklaws, 2 Big Choppas, 1 Waaagh! Banner, 1 Bosspole, 1 Painboy, Cybork Bodies-360 points

7 Burnas-105 points

Troop Options-

5 Nob Bikers- 2 Powerklaws, 2 Big Choppas, 1 Waaagh! Banner, 1 Bosspole, 1 Painboy, Cybork Bodies-360 points

19 Ork Boyz with Shootas, Nob with Bosspole and Powerklaw-154 points

20 Ork Boyz with Shootas, Nob with Bosspole and Powerklaw-154 points

Fast Attack Options-

1 Deffkopta with Twin-Linked Rokkit Launcha and Buzzsaw- 70 points

1 Deffkopta with Twin-Linked Rokkit Launcha and Buzzsaw- 70 points

‘eavy Support Options-

1 Battlewagon with Armored Plates, Grot Riggers, Big Shoota-110 points

1 Battlewagon with Armored Plates, Grot Riggers, Big Shoota-110 points

1 Battlewagon with Armored Plates, Grot Riggers, Big Shoota-110 points

Total Points- 1849

Very similar in concept to what I suggested for you. It has some vulnerabilities, but basically all my list is about the same speed when they smack the opponent upside the head with about 60 boyz and nobz.

Downunder

WarOne makes many good points. I'd like to extend by mentioning that taking Nob Biker's means that you're entire army is now required to support this super unit.

Since the Nob Biker list became so notorious its now a requirement to make the unit as powerful as possible so it will stand up to the punishment that players will put onto it for its prior history as an unstoppable gamebreaker.

Additionally try add as many as you can, when put at max with the warboss your opponent needs to make 12 wounds on the unit before it loses a model. Use Ammo Runts to help with complexity and try giving some Shoota-Skorchas or 'eavy Armour to help keep it complex as it gets bigger.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...
Lets settle this in the arena http://pantsformer.mybrute.com
