Hey Guys,

Havn'n played since i was 16 but recently started back. I decided to start a new army due to old papinting might be slighty embarassing. I used to play gaurd and found it irritating to carry so many cases so i've decided to do a deathwing army.

My goals are to create an army for fun and enter a few tournements.

Questions i have as being straight back into this are:

Is it just the dark angels codex i need for deathwing?

As far as Berial (think thats his name) as my HQ choice there is no models for him, but want him with 2xLC any suggestions?

This may sound picky but I am going to use a standard in my assault termi group, i want him with 2XLC so can i just stick a flag on his back? or are there any other suggestions?

I would say I am an average painter with some nice ideas as far as my army, I have a mental list but will try it out and change it as i progress, for those interested it contains 2x termi squads, hq and a LRC.

Thanks for all the help i have already found on these forums. I shall post my assualt termi's up once there fully painted (nearly there) and going to purchase my next lot soon!

Welcome to dak dak¡ I can only answer the first and last question as i dont really know much about DAs. Yes there is only one codex to use for DW and DA and that is CA. The last is yes you can model your guys however you want.

I know you can model them as you like, but as its a standard wit 2xLC it would look better if he was holding it, however does he still count as having 2 x LC?
I like my models looking and having what they are meant to

Mmm well most people dont have a problem with making your models look good as opposed to WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Now if you plan to do competitive tournies than it would be best to do show him with 2LCs with the banner on his back. Just be sure to tell your opponent beforehand if you have him holding the banner that he is actually equipped with 2LCs.

Awesome! I have a deathwing, assault terminator squad, terminator squad, terminator command squad with Belial (his name) and im thinking of putting a ravenwing alongside it to gain mobility. All are painted as Disciples of Caliban which you can find under successor chapters in the back of the DA codex
