Hi everyone!

This is my second blog and as im an imperial man ive decided to do space marines!

I looked through lexicanum and came up with a list of a few chapters, that included the relictors, looked through all their fluff and decided i wanted to do relictors as their fluff is quite open and i don't see many relictor armies.

I have tested the scheme on a random marine (horribly painted) and turned it into a pip relictor:





next i will be getting aobr to start it up more but for now i will change my avalible marines into Relictors!

Can't give my own opinions on the mini, the picture is too far away and out of focus.

Still a bit unclear.
Put on macro-stand ,use a lamp (or other lightning form), and put out flash!
If its still unclear then , I dont know...

How about putting a plain sheet of paper as a background - force the camera to focus on the mini? As a fellow Relictors player I'd love to see some other armies out there!

Thanks mate! I tried some with a sheet of paper and they came out blurrier than normal. >.<

There should be a little picture of a flower on your camera, press it. Also don't use flash and hold your finger on the button until it focusses on the model.

I LOVED the Relictors, back when GW allowed variant rules to show up in WD via 'Index Astartes".

They have some of THE coolest fluff ever, as they were big fans of using Chaos to defeat Chaos, always on the edge of darkness themselves...

They even advnaced their storyline when they had a pissed of traitor (hidden!) Inquisitor proclaim them Extremis Diabolus in order to destroy them so that he could get his hands on an artifact that they had beat him too, and almost killed him in the process.

Then, in the subsequent years, GW retconned all of that away, and now the Relictors are back to 'being watched closely".

Ah well, the good old days!

OT, the paint scheme is correct - mostly grey with some black and the 'chapter badge' is, I believe, the 'sideways skull' which isn't their REAL chapter symbol, but it is a 'penitent' badge because they're ALREADY in trouble with the =I=.

And, better pictures are needed before anyone can really comment...
