Hey guys something that literally popped up in my mind mid-battle against blood angels as the Tyranids the other day.

As you'd know, 2 close combat weapons gives you an extra attack (Chainsword & bolt pistol, Dual chainsword etc etc)

Does this apply with Tyranids? For example a set of Sytals and Rending claws, does that confer an extra attack?

What about 2 pairs of Sytals? Wouldn't that mean Trygons have 7 attacks base, or would that already be included in the 6 attacks?

Just something that needs clarifying..

Actually it was the third; when ever a Question is asked on YMDC and the answer is written clearly in plain english in a codex or rulebook, a direction to the page with the appropriate answer is itself an answer.

YMDC is not a place for rules to be given out wholesale, and we expect enough Literacy and reading comprehension out of those that come here; to merely direct them where to read the information themselves.

As such your question was fully answered by Klawz(directing you to page 33 of the nid dex), then answered twice by Slackermagee.
