Wondering how Tenhenhiun's large base works with where Kroxigors line up inside mixed units of Skinks and making sure I've got it right.

Would my little attached diagram be the correct formation?

Would that middle Krox get to make his Supporting Attacks?

Tenhenhiun on his swarm is unbreakable.

Unless you mean Tette'ko, he can't join a skink unit with Kroxies in it.

Nope, Tenhenuain. And according to the book, a non-unbreakable character can not join a unit that is, but it says nothing about an unbreakable character not being able to join a unit that isn't.

Doh, I missed that(and then, of course, I started looking at your diagram upside down ).

Yes, you have it correct, and yes, the kroxigor can make supporting attacks since the rule stats on page 48:
A model can make a supporting attack if it is directly behind a friendly model that itself is fighting an enemy in base contact.

Yes, but with the FAQ eliminating the great reach rule, that would mean the krox is only making one attack right? Therefore wouldn't you need to put Krox in the front rank to get the full effect?

Montrous infantry get up to 3 attacks in support.

As skyth said - Krox are monstrous creatures.

Even better you can no longer target the Krox to kill them off, you MUST kill the skink!

I was wondering about that, but was too lazy to break open the LM book

The concern that I still have after looking through the rules is what happens if you do more than 14 wounds to that unit of Skinks and Kroxigors, or do more wounds than there are Skinks in general. Or if for some reason the Lizardman player wanted to save some Skinks, can or must the Kroxigors ever take wounds?

The casualty removal rules just don't seem to address whether the same type of model as was attacked has to be removed as a casualty.

I'm having the same discussions with our group about Rat Ogres and pack masters, squig herds, and mixed skink/krox units.

In all 3 you are swinging at one type, and the back rank is the other. And of course, all 3 of those units differ, so a one rule fits all fix doesn't work.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

My take on this is: if you cannot target the unit type you cannot wound it.

So until Krox are on the front rank you cannot harm them.
