Firstly: This list is designed to be my sniper list, as such I am hoping to make it competitive without removing the sniper element.
Secondly: Please do not suggest kroot. There are 2 reasons for this. First and most importantly, I hate kroot. Secondly, I do not own any and am currently unemployed (stupid surgery )

Without further ado, here is my list:

If Bruce Lee is advocate and does kick someone between the legs in a fight, why would I be to good to do it?

My fighting style: Hit em hard, hit em fast, hit em where it hurts, hit em where they can't see you or hit back.

All over the U.S.

Looks like a decent start. I have a couple of ideas:

One of the problems I can see with this list is that one unit of FWx6 will be stuck on foot.

I can see the unit as screeners but am concerned about their ability to withstand enough fire to be around to catch a second turn assault.

You could fix this by by dropping the TA and Bonding knife on the Shas'ei=+15

Then drop one shas'ui to make one of the crisis teams a Monat and join the commander to the monat.=+55

This will give you a total of 70 to put towards your screening units. Either make the FW unit larger or get a forth squad.

Just an idea.

Let us know how the list works for you.

Edit to add: The reason I didn't say anything about you being a little low on Railguns/Anti land raider is because I am assuming that you are still playing in the same group that only uses a modest number of vehicles. If that has changed, then let me know.

I'm not sure what you mean about a team of 6x fw on foot...I have 3 Pathfinders, each with a devilfish and 3 fw squads there.

As for screening I find putting stuff behind sniper teams works great against shooting, and if the make it that close to assault, my suits and fw teams will be able to disappear in the turn of having to assault my sniper drones.

And as for the railguns, it is the same group but I do want this list to be competitive. Although I thought that 3 railguns (for heavy tanks), 7 tl missile pods (for medium tanks) and 18 rail rifles (for light tanks and transports if necessary) would have been enough to at least immobilize if not kill the majority of the tanks at which point I can outmaneuver and pick them off at my leisure.

Sorry, disregard. I read only 2 Pathfinders squads.
Now that I read 3 pf teams and transports its a fairly solid list that I really like.

As far as the Anti-heavy tank goes, at 1750 you are getting into that questionable points area of whether you want the 4th railgun/heavy tank killer. Up to you, try list as is and see how it works.

Just to let you know, you got me to thinking about Vespids the other day and am toying with a new list.

BTW, You will still need to focus on a small area to punch a hole and move through. You most likely know this, but figured I'd mention it.
Having that many S6 & S7 weapons there is sometimes the temptation to spread your fire to much. Also, don't count on the sniper rifles to take out vehicles, instead plan on using them for what was in the transports.

Glad ya like it so far, as for more anti-tank, Snipers kinda take away from the options. Normally I take the hh just in case I end up playing someone like a nid or ork player, but once I get up to 2k, I tend to add in vespid (even more ap 3 seems fair to a marine list, right?) and more pathfinders (helps those pesky broadsides and hhs hit on 2s ) which leaves at least some of my crisis suits to come up to anti-tank from the tl missile pods. (Which of course means more ninja tau shenanigans! )

And I'm glad to start ya thinking about vespids, there fragile from my experience, but can really pack a punch with markerlights. Just gotta find a good balance between vespid and pathfinders (I find unless your taking snipers and skyrays and markerlights on troops it works a little better to have 2 pathfinders and 1 vespid unless you plan on always hitting the same troop at once, then 2 vespid, 1 pathfinder, and maybe some extra markerlights here and there)

I like this list a lot and I'm going to suggest it to a friend of mine to try out, but unless my calculations are wrong I think you're 5 points over. I keep going over the codex trying to find the mistake I made to explain those 5 points, but I can't find anything incorrect thus far. So I wanted to throw that out there, and if you're absolutely sure that it's 1750 I'll just keep going over my math to see where I've screwed up. I should find it eventually ;-)

For my input, it looks good, the achilles being the minimum sized troop units (yeah, each inna 'fish). Still, so much AP3 and there prolly won't be quite so much enemy left to hurt 'em.

So am I indeed crazy, or are other people getting 1755 here as well?

Also, assuming that I'm not crazy, where would you suggest shaving the 5 points from?
