Last time i got my old ,unpainted lizardmen army out of the closet and was planning to paint them.
I first wanted to paint them in the normal colours ,but after I painted my scar-veteran i got bored.
I went searching for a nice colour scheme and then my eye falls on an old codex of chaos beasties....

The cavalry has a good colour scheme. How are you going to justify it though, lizardmen are probably the most anti-chaos race in WFB?

don't know much of Lizardmen, but that cavalry certainly look good!

They could do with some cleaning up, but they are still good.

And although I don't agree with it, or even find it possible, Chaos Lizardmen seem OK.

Anyway, here's the colours I'd use;
Khorne: Saurus, Kroxigor, Carnosaur, Stegadons
Slaanesh: Skinks, Terradons, Cold Ones
Nurgle: Salamanders, Razordons, Jungle Swarms
Tzeentch: Slann

I know they are THE enemy's of Chaos, but what if a templecity gets tainted?
The spawnpools would produce twisted saurus and skink, and the jungle around it would corrupt = Chaos lizardmen
and the slann just joined in (deceived by promise of power?)

I'm gonna clean them a bit up ,and try to get my hands on my brothers cam, for better pics
