I'm running Firefox 3.6 and after the update the size of the text on Dakka has changed and It's really bugging me. I've tried zooming in and out but I can't get it back to how it was. Normally it's fixed by a Zoom reset but not this time. I know other people are also experiencing this. Was this intentional? If so, I'll put up with it, if not, would it be possible to change it back as it's really getting on my wick. Thanks Lego.

It has been changed to be consistent across all browsers and now the zoom in firefox and other browsers actually works exactly the way it should do.

Firefox 3 had a lot of bugs with the zooming before these changes actually. What operating system and resolution are you using, and any chance you could take a screenshot for me? Do you have odd fonts on other websites too? (if so you're DPI setting in firefox may be incorrect for some reason).

Well, Dave, I think I'm having a similar issue. I tried out some of the new themes, but after I went back to classic, some of the writing did seem bigger.

Okay, I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium, my display resolution is 1280x800, and there is no zoomed in text on other sites either.

In screenshot 1 the Search - Recent Threads - etc bar looks how it's supposed to, but nothing else. This is the website when zoomed out by 1 degree using Ctrl Mouse Wheel.

Screenshot 2 I did not notice beforehand but it may interest you. As you can see everyone whose name is formatted differently has slightly smaller font (The size of the differently formatted words is as it was pre-update) This is with no zoom.

Oh I see what you are talking about. Those changes are all planned and permanent I am afraid as the header had to be rejigged for some very interesting things we will be adding in the future. If I had kept things the same, we would either not have compatibility with portable devices, or would have no room for the new sections.

From your screenshots, everything is looking as intended. What specific items do you have a problem with?

It wasn't really a problem per-say, I just found it annoying that the text was different, specifically the 'Search - Recent Threads - etc' bar that I mentioned earlier, as well as the bars above it. It made me think I was zoomed in when I wasn't, as well as being slightly irksome as I'm not used to it yet.

Still, If it's nescassary dw about doing anything about it, I'll just have to get used to it.

Aside from all that though, I like the changes you've made. Little things like a drop down menu for themes and a spoiler button rather than a highlight text box (as well as the getting rid of tooltips on mobile view) really make things easier to use. Thanks.

If I told then I'd have to do them faster. All in good time as I have a lot of stuff on my plate at the moment. One new things is coming soon but it is nothing too new really, just a new navigation option. Other than that the next thing will be 3+ months at least as I have bugs to fix and have to get the search engine working again properly too.
