So I was in the range today buying wedding stationary stuff when I happened to notice they were selling Flow improver, Winsor & Newton Artists' Acrylic Flow Improver to be precise. So I thought why not give it a go.

So in the spirit of there are no stupid questions.

The instructions on the back say "pre-mix with water up to 10%, then mix with colour". Does this mean up to 10% flow improver and 90% water or up to 10% water and the rest flow improver? or should I just use it straight?

Is it best to put a little bit straight into all my paint pots or use it as I mix my paints (or a combination of both)?

Any other guidance would be great.

Thanks.

This is how I use it - works great at 4 drops paint to 1 drop 'gunk'

I never put it in paint pots directly, just so I can always control each session perfectly.
