Who'd win in a straight up small five man team firefight?
Space Marines
or
Spartans from the Halo series
Space Marines all the way!!!
And i got to thinking that show on spike Deadlliest Warrior should do an episode where the pit these two fictional "juggarnaughts" against each other Automatically Appended Next Post: I think that wouldnt even be a fair fight

Imperial Crusaders: 7,500 points
“Brothers, what we do on the battlefield is not just for our chapter but, for the entire Imperium. Every Xenos that falls by our hands will be a testament to our unwavering duty to the Emperor. Every heretic that is crushed under our feet will be a testament to our undying loyalty to the citizens of Imperial Space. We will baptize ourselves in fire and emerge as the most steadfast defenders of humanity.” - qoute from my own homegrown chapter

If you don't think it would even be a fair fight, why ask? I was really looking forward to never seeing "WHO WOULD WIN!!!??!?!?11?" threads ever again.

Armour Piercing Sniper Rifle
Spartan Laser (way more powerful than a Lascannon)
Plasma Grenades
besides, Spartans are one of those guys you don't use for a firefight "Versus" thread type thing. if you pitted a Spartan against a Titan he won't show up, no, he'll be inside the thing and taking it apart using it's own ammunition against it (or take it from the skies like against a Scarab but this isn't Master Chief we're dealing with). Similarly, a Space Marine won't bull rush into impossible odds but will stike at the refueling and repairs depots and attack (or bull rush) from behind

Your wit astounds me.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I don't think we really need another thread like this.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
