I would recommend checking out the Imperial Armour books. They have rules (and Forgeworld models) for Basalisk emplacements, and Trogan transport vehicles.

Specifically, you want Imperial Armour Apocalypse 2 for:
Heavy Artillery Battery (towable earthshaker and medusa)
Support Weapons Platforms (towable hydra and manticore)
Trojan (towing vehicle)

You may also want to look at Imperial Armour 7 for leman russ turret emplacements

I think FW sell models for towable Earthshakers. They look pretty cool. Model a little tow tank to the frontt and play it as a normal Bassie.

EDIT: Found a pic...

They sell all the towable pieces I listed above plus some DKoK only ones.

"Simple" idea for the conversion here...

Buy the basi kit, use the tank hull to convert your own trojan towing tank using some plasticard and bits. Go to a dollar store to buy some toy trucks ((cheap cheap)) with wheels that you can pry off; if you're lucky you might be able to find some sort of truck/trailer toy at a dollar store and use the trailer with some plasticard to make up the towing system for the basi earth shaker. Just remember to have the wheels modeled on the earth shaker in front of the cannons chamber, and the hitch modeled behind the chamber so that it will sit on the table already with the gun pointed skyward a bit.

Then as others have suggested, check out the FW books for rules. Biggest concern I would have going up against that is, how do I target it? what is front/side armor etc. And does immobilized or weapon destroyed count as wrecked?

"Of course I have, have you ever tried going insane with out power? It sucks! Nobody listens to you."

The rules are all in the IA book.

They're artillery, not vehicles, so facing doesn't matter. (and they're one AV all-round anyway)

That does make them quite vulnerable, although the earthshaker and medusa have a decent number of ablative crew. They are discounted a bit but no-where near enough for the extra vulnerability.

RAW, the hydra and manticore can't fire at all since they have no crew. I can only assume that they were meant to be Type: Vehicle (Immobile).

So, it's typical FW rules - a btt over-priced with some copy-paste errors chucked in.
