Hey there, long time 40k player, and starting some fantasy with a high elf army.
I was thinking of putting my prince in a Tiranoc Chariot, and had some questions as to how this works.

p86 of the rulebook states "The Wounds, Toughness and armor saves of the crew and beasts are never used"
p103 of the rulebook states "A chariot mount otherwise follows all the rules for ridden monsters"
p106 of the rulebook states "...if mount dies...the character will revert to the rules for his troop type"
p106 of the rulebook states "if the mount is slain the rider will continue to fight on foot"
p90 of the rulebook states "Lances are mounted models only"

Here are my questions
1) Can I give my Prince a lance? Does it work on the chariot?
2) If the Tiranoc chariot takes 4 wounds from shooting, does the Prince hop out and then have another 3 wounds?
3) Can the Prince be singled out in hand to hand combat?
4) If the chariot is attacked in hand to hand combat, and not the prince, then dies. Does the prince hop out and start attacking?
5) Do special attacks such as breath weapons/rock lobbers/cannons, etc hit both targets or just the chariot?

Thanks!

3) Yes
4) Yes, the chariots is removed and the prince is put in b2b contact with the unit

1) Yes. A chariot is a mount
2) Yes, the prince would be unwounded and carry on by himself, but could not use the lance.
3) Yes, he is a character so can be singled out. SSomeone correct me if this has changed in 8th...
4) Yes, the prince would get to attack. Howeever with ASF would already have attacked....
5) stone throwers etc hit all parts of the model, but only one part gets the high strength hit. all other attacks hit all parts, so a cannon hits both parts.
