So the time has finally come, I was thinking about selling my account (left it live-but-untouched for 6 months like all the guides said) but now I have found what will probably be more beneficial to me and the Dakka community, the chance to trade my account for Warhammer stuffs!

What I have is...

The Battle.Net account has a 4.5 year veteran status, so if that means anything to you (people who like getting into Beta's I'm pretty sure) there is that to consider

I also have the Warcraft 3 battle chest including Frozen Throne.

Obviously, I have World of Warcraft, with both expansions, as well as the two "Premium Pets" (Pandaran and Mini-KT) , the penguin thing, and Zebra Mount bonus thingy.

The account has a grand total of around 15-20,000 gold as well as Full bank tabs on all major characters (4 of them) and a Completely filled private Guild bank (with about ~25K gold worth of mats/items, not included in the 15-20K).

If this ends up working out for me, I can almost guarantee my Girlfriend will be asking me to trade off her account as well ((And 80 priest/warrior among other things)) so if I am not looking for what you want just yet, but you are looking for some very well geared 80s, be sure to check and see.)

Be warned, a WOW account can't be legally transferred, and the original owner has ways of getting it back. Buyer beware.

I'd Give my secret question, the account email, and (more importantly) my word that they would have it.

The reason the "selling" guides say to have 6 months "payed-not-played" is to show potential buyers a sign of good faith. I dropped 6 months worth of subscription fees just to show I really wanted to sell/rid myself of the account.

Honestly Dracos, just because you allowed yourself to get scammed in the past due to your own oversight, doesn't mean you have the right to soil other members swap shop threads. If you don't have any interest in what I have to offer, keep your text out of my Trade ad.

I was offering a buyer beware. Sorry you feel it was unwarranted, but the transaction you are suggesting is not a legal one, and I was making sure any potential buyer is aware of that.

I'm not sure what you mean about me getting scammed in the past, that's kinda out of left field.

If it wasn't made clear yet, Dakka's current stance is that WoW accounts are allowed in the Swap Shop with the condition that it is being traded for some actual wargaming related trade rather than a straight up sale. As always, Caveat Emptor remains a strong recommendation when dealing with these trades (not to malign anybody trading the accounts but rather with respect to dealing with Blizzard). If Blizzard sends us a Cease and Desist, we will obviously shut down and delete any running threads of the nature, but for now, we will allow it.

On a personal note, I would like to say that I hope this trading doesn't become common-place in the Swap Shop, but don't think it'll be an issue so long as people engaging in such trades personally understand the risks involved with the trade.

Having said that, any further discussion on the matter will be considered Off Topic henceforth and will be deleted. Please only reply in this thread if you have a serious offer to put forth. Current OT posts have been deleted as well.

To ease some concerns, I will be purchasing a Battle.Net Authenticator (the hard copy one for anyone wondering) which I will send along with the original cd Keys (and as many discs as I can find) to whomever I am making the trade with. I will also provide an extensive (albiet overlydramatic) method of identification if for any reason someone has any troubles with the account. (I have IdentyLock, so I am comfortable faxing my DL incase anyone needs it for account recovery nonsense)
