Here's a bunch of battle reports from the Vancouver Conquest GT held last weekend.

battle 1 and 2 - http://www.vanhammer40k.com/node/45
battle 3 and 4 - http://www.vanhammer40k.com/node/47
battle 5 and tactical notes - http://www.vanhammer40k.com/node/49

I ran an all infantry blood angels list that went 3W, 1D, 1L. Learnt a few things on maximising your chances of success with a blood angels infantry army in a tournament setting.

As a note, DoA does not allow for successful reserve rolls to be re-rolled. It only allows for unsuccessful rolls to be re-rolled.

Pardon my ignorance, though do blood angels have a special rule?

In game two wouldn't you have to mishap, and not simply make dangerous terrain rolls?

yeah - descent of angels, only scatter d6" and can reroll failed reserve rolls for jump pack equipped units.

buildings are not impassable terrain to jump infantry unless they are occupied by enemy troops.

Ah, I didn't know they were actual buildings.

Silly blood angels.

That's the first tournament I've seen that actually uses building rules. It made for an interesting change.

yeah, there was definitely a lack of knowledge amongst everyone, myself included, in how to use buildings properly.

it definitely adds to the game.

read my battle 3 against the IG gunline! almost no scenery there. But the A Club up here have an awesome selection of terrain.
