Eternal Plague

A while back, I got myself a metal Daemon Prince. I didn't know what colors to make him until I picked up a Chaos Marine army from Pipboy101.

With a Nurgle themed army to go with, I decided to give him a nasty earth tone look. Here is the result:




Painting was done with Folkart paints, washed with GW washes, and then coated with Krylon clear gloss finish.

The wings come from a poor unfortunate DnD model (young green dragon), pictured below:

From the first few pics it was hard to get an idea of the wings' scope. However, after seeing the top-down picture I'm impressed.

If you take a snapshot value at a few ebay prices, I found one for about 5-7 bucks.

The good news is is that the wings are almost a perfect match for the shoulderblades above the Daemon Prince where I placed them. Just had to shave down the wings a bit to make it match.
