hi guys, ive been trying to do a scorpion green chitin with sunburst yellow carapace scheme on nids, and was wondering what your input would be as to how to get the most pop out of the scorpion green, while still achieving a clean look.
any input would be strongly appreciated as i always hear good stuff

Do you like making peoples' eyes bleeds? Scorpion Green is a pretty offensively bright color. If you really want to use it though, you're going to need a white undercoat. Likewise with the yellow. I'd just paint the carapace yellow and the the chitin green, then wash the carapace with Gryphonne Sepia and the chitin with Thrakka Green.

But yeah, you want to base coat anything that will be green with white. Also, don't be afraid to put down several thin layers, as scorpion green is similar to yellow in that it has pretty poor coverage.
