As the title suggests is azrael worth taking in an 1000 point army.
Recently I have taken him with belial, 2 deathwing squads and a combat squad in a razorback. I put azrael with the combat squad as meat shields with a 4up invulnerable as he is not an eternal warrior. Please comment and give your views.

He's a fairly weak IC as is, and imho not worth the points! Also for 1K to have 2 expensive characters + Termi's is a waste, not enough bodies

In a 1000 point game? God no. It's generally not advisable to spend more than 10-15% of your points on HQ, especially in a game that small.

agreed squad getting 4++ is cool but not in a 1k list
