What is necron I've seen a couple threads being locked for necron or something?

Necrons are awesome Terminator robots who got beaten to death with the nerf-hammer in 5th ed. Lots of Necron threads right now are rumor threads discussing when they will be updated, if they will be good again once they are updated, and what sorts of new things they will get.

These threads tend to be very redundant and are mostly just wish-listing because as of right now there is next to no information about what will happen to them. Thus the mods close them for pointless redundancy.

Are you sure you don't mean Necromancy? Those are threads that have been left alone for a while (2-3 weeks?) and then someone posts in them with nothing to useful to contribute. Mods ussually lock these becuase they are just annoying.

if you want to know what a Necron is, search for the oldest thread in a forum that is not locked and subsequently post on it.
