I've decided to take my long shelved tau to a Tournament! My theory is that it will be so totally unexpected my opponents will become confused and thus easy prey. I used to be a Mech Tau guy, but now I'm thinking more of a static Gunline with some kroot to work their their way towards objectives and lots of makerlights (thinking that their ability to cause pinning checks at a penalty could stop a key enemy unit if need be) and relying on shear weight of firepower.
Any thoughts? FYI, tournament comp scoring makes me loath to take any more HQ, Elite, FA or HS... : (
