Today me and my friends had a nice big game. It was me with my witchhunters,my brother with space wolves then there was Tau, Eldar and Nids. It was a great games and the witchhunters with eldar beat the space wolves with nids in the last game.Today I also got my first win playing 40k in 25 games.Im learning pretty fast and the game is just getting better and better.My Witchunters swept threw and Tau army.Today luck was in my favor.

It was a great game, and the witchhunter and eldar combo beat the spacewolves with TND in the last game. I acchieved my first win today, playing 40k, in the space of 25 games. I am learning Well and the game is becomming more enjoyable My witch hunters swept through some tau'n. Today, luck was with my favour.

Congo-rats on your first win! Way to show some fortitude and determination through a long streak of losses. Maybe you'll start a streak of wins!

Your post indicated you are still pretty new to the game. I am not that good of a player, so take my advise with a grain of salt... In my opinion, a new player needs to focus on the following three keys: KNOWING rules, accurately estimating distances, and quickly calculating probability. Master these three things and you can blame dice when you lose.
(I would like to add the disclaimer that becoming a good player at 40k requires you to master more than the three keys mentioned above. It is a complicated and fluid game that requires focused thought, careful planning, spontaneous adaption, and a little luck.)

Please forgive the aggressive and negative posts made by some of the other posters in this thread. The Internets can be a cold, harsh place. I would encourage you to try again utilizing some of the same form you can see in any of the other posts in this forum. Welcome to the forum!
