The wife is in love with Skarsnik and wants to use him in her little Night Gobbo army that will likely never get played.

With the advent of 8th, I have questions. Since I have questions, I turn to you guys.

1: Skarsnik will never get a look-out-sir, roll, correct?

2: If she miscasts on the prodda's bound spell, is Skarsnik still armed with a halberd or does he lose the weapon?
2a: While I'm thinking about it, how does this affect magic standards with bound spells?

3: Skarsnik is listed as a monstrous beast but his profile reads like cavalry. Is he, then, considered monstrous cavalry? Does he get an armor save?

4: When he makes a stomp attack, which profile do you use--his or Gobbla's? If Gobbla's, does the stomp have killing blow?
4a: What about with monstrous cavalry? Does the rider or the mount stomp?

5: If you rank up NG's 5 wide and have full command, Skarsnik cannot fit in the front rank and must, therefore, be deployed in the second. How many supporting attacks does he make, and are they made with his profile or with Gobblas? Can you pick between the two?

1. Skarsnik can't get look out sir in a unit of Night Goblins, it ssad, i made my general a Goblin Warboss so that skarsnik's death isnt as important. He's still a really good character

2. If he miscasts the prodda, it crumbles and he loses his halberd. Same with magic banners, the banner will crumble.

3. He's a warbeast, not cavalry, so he doesnt get an armour bump

4. I think you have a choice on this one, so prob Gobbla.

5. I believe you can fit him, but the musician will be in the second rank. as A character, he HAS to be in the front rank. Best thing for him anyway is to run a unit it minimum 6 wide. I put him in a horde of 50 myself.

5. you are incorrect on that - if you read the new rules the command group MUST be on the front rank, and there is no such requirement for characters - it states theyc an be placed on the second row if there is not enough room. In combat you can place him in the front row due tot eh characters moving units.

"rank and file models, except for the command group that must remain in the front rank"
