Thanks for the kind words, those of you who spared me some. For those of you who didn't see anything you liked, that's what makes capitalism great! At the moment, anyway, no one can tell you you HAVE to buy my stuff! (Although I'm currently lobbying for something in that direction, and if ever there was an era that I could pull it off . . . ).

And since I've never heard of most of you . . . well then, fair's fair!

Mayhap we should cast a glance at dictionary.com, though, for a definition of the admittedly multi-syllabic word 'classic'.

I hope the auctions do well! I'm a little worried about all of the bare-metal scouts... I put up a similar set of auctions, with duplicate sets of high elf spearmen in 5 or 6 lots... and I felt like I ended up working against myself by not spreading them out! However, it sounds like you need to sell them right away, so it probably couldn't be avoided :-/

By 'classic' I meant "classic" old school Dakka.

Yea the term classic sometimes is overused at times.. but the work is nice perhaps the term vintage is more appropriate.. Anyway the paint work appears to be a bit older...

For example.. a Golden Demon winner from 20 yrs ago..even his work though award winning may appear quite dated or even substandard compared to an above average painter of this era.

Very sensible of Craig to clear the decks before the arrival of his very own home-cast miniature...!

Russ - those pics in your gallery ARE a lot nicer - and definitely convey that 'classic' look and feel... and they are nicely painted!
