Hey y'all,

It's possible this thread should be in P&M, but I'm sure I'll be moved and learn my lesson if that's the case.

So, I'm pretty certain I want some Sentinels somewhere in my IG army eventually, but due to my general low-tech feel, I don't fancy using the standard GW minis. I'm thinking of this as a slow burning conversion or acquisition for myself, but really want to shop around. I have already discovered the Bauhaus Grizzly from Warzone:

and the Ironclad Miniatures Walking Steam Tank

but I would love some general input and wisdom from y'all dakkaites. One possibility I was thinking of was using old-school Epic Knights and Titans with a bit of conversion, has anyone ever tried that? Or Warmachine bits'n'bobs?

Please post images and/or links to any minis or conversions you have seen on the webs over the years that might work for me.

Muchly Ta,

Cap'n R.

At tournament, ask the TO if you can use them.

Thanks, I already know I can use pretty much any minis I like at my FLGS so long as they look good, and that's all that matters to me.

@delta - I quite like some of those armorcast dudes, but they're all a bit too wacky for me really. I'd rather have something that looks right, despite being made of wood and brass, than something that's solidly armoured but looks daft. Thanky for the linky anyway
