So for my WoC army I would like to have a unit with each mark. MoK, MoN, MoT are easy enough for me to find uses for but I cant find a unit that MoS would actually benefit. The only unit MoS would benefit that I could find would be Marauder Horsemen however MoK would give them the same benefit along with Frenzy.
Amy I missing a unit or something? MoS can't be completely useless right?

It pretty much is. Many things became useless in 8th, MoK pretty much stomps MoS now unless you fear rolling awful Leadership. I guess if you lose the Frenzy it matters but you re-roll Panic anyways.
Good on Giants!

Yes, put it on your Giant. Maybe on a block of marauders that you want to be a little more reliable, but nothing else is much worth it unless it's a themed army.

I'm glad I painted all of my stuff purple for Slaanesh because now it's that much closer to red. I will say that MoS is pretty nice on Marauder Horsemen. MoS on Giant is nice, but with nearly everybody being stubborn one-on-one versus the Giant it is kind of meh.

Well, maybe when the Warriors of Chaos get their 8th Edition Army Book, it will mean something again?
Maybe?

WoC aren't in that bad of shape for 8th compared to some other armies. Armies which haven't had an update in a long time. TK and Bretts come to mind. Back on topic. I can see MoS being changed to reducing the initiative of enemies in CC when WoC does get an update. As it stands now MoS is pretty useless, especially since a bsb allows you to re-roll all failed ld tests.

MoS is a cheep alternative to nothing. Remember, ld 8 isnt all that good and not everyone is within range of the BSB.
Outside that range you can either fail a fear check or a frenzy restraint and mess up your day.
Not the best but not worthless yet.

Oh, that's really unfortunate all of you are saying that...I was planning on doing my Sigvald army at one point D:
Its not completely useless, LD8, as the fellow said above me) isn't all that uber, so it would still come in handy for fear/terror and such.
I've never trusted frenzy, so I'll probably go with M.o.T for my big blocks, and M.o.S for my horsemen.

IF they did remake things.
I could see MoS being remade as +1 initiative or -1 initiative for enemy in combat.
That's how Mark of Slaanesh works in 40k and 8th edition combat is basically 40k.

Mark of Slaanesh still permits a flee move as far as I know, which is something frenzied troops can do. The whole flee/redirect isn't what it was, but it's still handy- and nice to be able to flee with fast cav.
I like the idea of Tzeentch on a deep unit of HW & Shield maruaders for the 5+ parry. Should help tie up some hard hitters for some time...

If a majority of models in a unit are Immune to Psychology, it cannot choose to flee.

Unless something has changed in 8th (and I haven't noticed it in the Warriors FAQ), Mark of Slaanesh doesn't provide Immune to Psychology. It provides immunity to fear, terror, and panic, which is different.

Right, MoS isn't immune to psych.
I still take MoS. It's cheap, keeps control over my troops, means I can go without a BSB, and saves me from panic and terror checks which I ALWAYS fail.
