Why isnt there a medic for the Eldar?

There, from what i have seen is a medic for every other race why not the eldar?

Also in the Eldar codex some of the fluff says they have armor that can repair itself, and that bonesingers are able to speed up the process, i realize that that is just their armor, but i mean that is better than nothing...

Or is there a medic?

The rule with Eldar is to kill them before they even think of killing you. Gameplay wise, it really wouldn't make sense for them.

there is kinda a medic of a sort but not in the sense we would think of...its more of a life after death precaution. they utilize a device called a soul stone which houses an eldar soul upon death and they have spirit seers go and gather the soul stone so it may be incorporated into its craftworld or in times of dire need they are used to give life to wraithguard or wraithlords

That, and they're supposed to help in that whole creation of a new god of death thing.

Eldar have healers, but they are NOT a battlefield medic.

Theirs is a support role back on the craftworld, in the healing centres, where they assist the warriors to heal themselves.

None of the forces in 40k follow a doctrine of NOT shooting at medics, so it makes little sense to send people who are not warriors into battle.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

In fact, I'm pretty sure that most of the forces in 40k follow a doctrine of specifically shooting at medics.

Tau have no Medic.

Next codex you will get a Bonesinger to repair your vehicles and wraithlords.

lol yeah, I know some of the fluff i just find it odd that they are about the only army in 40k that has no medic model. lol i have one Wraithlord already, and im getting a few more, they are extremely versatile, there isnt much they cant do, a decent bs ws and great strength toughness and plenty of wounds. Plus they act as a monstrous creature 2d6+3 on ap rolls X.x

Back in 2nd ed, Eldar vehicles could take little crystalline warp spider-creatures as a vehicle upgrade (they could repair certain damage results in the same way a techmarine can).

Of course, this is also the game that gave us the Crystal targeting matrix upgrade (which the Fire prism used to come with by default).

Hey wait, where is my Tyranid medic or my Tau fish medic (or whatever)?? And my Black Templar medic is the worst medic ever...he doesn't even give me FNP.

Eye of Terror... I think

The eldar Goddess of Healing (Isha) is also the eldar god of life and her deciples (healers) refuse to take any part in war or the harming of life. These are the Eldars doctors, healers, medics, what have you and they sit nice and cozy and peaceful in the craftworld waithing for the sick and injured to come to them. Rather effeminate just like the rest of eldar society. lol

I don't know where you get all the armies. Seems alot like that "eldar chapters" thread.

Ah well, as others have posted, eldar wouldn't really be suited for a combat medic of sorts.

Tyranids now have the Tervigon, or whatever critter it is that provides FnP to things around it.

Witchunters have sisters Hospitaler.

necrons do indeed have the Res Orb.

It's not quite medic, but Tau have the Stim System that grants FnP to a single suit.

Witchhunters have the Chirurgeon, which is not exactly the same and doesn't provide FNP - though a Sister Hospitalier is an option, as is a torturer. For reasons best left unexplained - both provide the same healing to the Inquisitor who employs them.
