I'm now trying to make fluffwise fun CSM army. But I dont want auto-loose army. Its hard but I'm trying.

I play mostly in 1000pts. Having fun and do what I want to do is hard in this point level.
I'm fluff mad I want my army be fluffwise.
Tell me what you think,how to improve my idea,new idea, and Criticism. yes I want it.

Personally,I do not want to have Rhino. I have 7 chimera here....I do not want add Transport.
I like Landraider tho. But tell me when I must take rhino.
And I dont want Plague Marine. I like them but I have plague marine player friend. I do not want to do the same.

I have sevral question

Is footslogging is bad for CSM?
I think CSM is good because of their Troop choice. Am I wrong?

I cant decide what warband I should start. Help me please.

Foot slogging for CSM is rather bad. Yes CSM are good for their troop choice how ever that doesn't mean you shouldn't utilise the other slots.

CSM have many useful Elites and Heavy Support including, Termies and Obliterators.

Before you can improve you need to pick a warband/legion and stick with it. Or you could come up with 1 yourself and invent your own fluff thats always been a treat for me and I've found improved my game and determination to do an army.

Problem is I cant decide what warband/legion army I play....

Do one of the undivided legions. It atleast narrows it down to 4.

And alot fewer people play them. I myself like the Iron Warrior's and Night Lords.

Any particular god you want to patronise? Makes it easier for us to suggest legions to you.

Also any particular tactics? units?

I just finished reading the 3 word bearers novels (dark apostle/disciple/creed) and I'm all about word bearers (usually a loyal nurglilite as my sig/avatar might show). The problem is they are usually a foot-slogging army supported by war machines (defilers, dreadnoughts, etc). This just doesn't work in today's war40k. So you'll need to take your fluff and mix it with competitive gameplay ideas.

Some thoughts:

Word bearers use a lot of infantry. There's no reason you can't take this idea and make it work by giving them lots of transports. They favor getting up close and personal so you might consider some berzerkers, possessed, etc. They also seem to bring lots of heavy weapons so a few squads of havocs and some oblits thrown in wouldnt hurt. Your lord should almost definitely be a psyker (wish we had access to dark priests, but oh well) or a daemon prince(word bearers are all about giving into whatever ruinous powers offer them the fastest path to power).

Iron warriors are a bit easier as many of their common units are the solid choices of our current codex. Things like oblits, lots of good heavy support/vehicles, non-cult csms (or possibly some plague marines used in place of highly-bionic csms) armed with lots of melta/plasma. Leader can be almost anything, but probably not a sorc if you want to stay within common lore. They do have at least one daemon prince so that isn't out, but I think the regular lord works best. Keep him fairly barebones with a combi-melta and go from there.

Foot slogging is hard to do. Might work in low points with Bile list but otherwise some kid who spams vindicators and oblits will eat you alive. Anyway I will give you some ideas based on the stuff you suggested. I will put a disclaimer that these lists are geared more towards fun then competitiveness. These are just template suggestions and modify them to your taste

(15 points left over)
Notes: By using rhinos, this list has 5 havoc launchers (str 5 Ap 5 36" Blast, twin linked), 6 Heavy Bolters and 3 Auto Cannons for some serious anti horde power.
Total: 990 points

Undivided is good for me.
And Tzeentch. Good god arent they?

Tactics I like is.....Close combat & Close range fire.
My favorate Vehicle is Vindicator.

And I want to have Daemon Prince.
I really love "Alpha Legion" but they dont have Daemon Prince,right?

AL prob. have Daemon Princes...but fluff is what you make it.

Maybe Thousand Sons (Tzeentch). Or perhaps the black legion. They are undivided and have access to all possible units including beserkers rubric marines plague marines etc. I think Black legion has Daemon Princes, no idea about thousand sons though.

From information you guys gave me ,I realize what I wanted is Footslogging.
I know its not good. But I have too much chimera on my IG.
So I don't need much rhino. I love chimera looks but not rhino.
I love Land Raider but I play 1000pts mostly,Land Raider is too expensive :p
(Also,I'm fluff mania so I want keep my Army fluffy as long as possible.)

Imagine now,So many Chaos Spacemarine standing on field,and getting closer.Overwhelming enemies. What a nice view to see!

In my taste,Nurgle is not my army. I don like these zombies.....They are good for footslogging but....
