I know their are melta guns, but could there be melta pistols? Or are they too small to contain all the hot stuff?

Used to be melta pistols back in 2nd edition, but they worked a little different than they do in the current ruleset. Great to give HQ's or squad leaders since it wouldn't overheat or misfire like plasma or stormbolters.

They can kill anything! Ain't bragging when you can back it up; Melta-Death-Ray style. Seriously though I remember reading somwhere that the concept was inspired by old sci-fi death ray guns.
