Should Nob go in as...
Nob: PK, BP 40pts.
or
Nob: PK, 'eavy armour, BP 45pts.
I'm curious because I'm making this.

The second one. 'Eavy Armor is only five points and that 4+ armor save is wonderful. They go down way too quickly (since Nobz mobs are much smaller than Boyz mobs) if they only have a 6+ armor save.

Thank you.
Can anyone clarify that, that is the point value for that Nob?

Is this a squad of nobz? or just a squad of boys with a nob in it??
If its one nob in a squad of boys dont bother with the eavy armor.
If its a squad of nobs use em.
As for the points I am not to sure on.

Can't you see we have been abandoned? Forget matters of duty and honor to the emperor this is now a matter of pride. |

Pretty much what Pride said.
With Boyz Mobz, there's enough Boyz to soak wounds. If you actually wind up looking at a second wound or an instant death wound on your Nob, the Mob is probably done anyway.
For Nob Mobz though, it's a relatively cheap protection on investment. Honestly though, if I'm doing a full Mob with the Painboy and fixins, I generally leave the 'Eavy Armour at home in favour of Cybork Bodies. I figure if my opponent can get through all of their counter hits and the like, they deserve to beat the Mob.
No matter which way you slice it though a 4+ to an Ork is a thing of beauty.

- Deathskullz - 6000 points
- Order of the Sacred Rose - 2000 points |

Don't bother with the armor, like everyone here said. You've got boyz for wounds, the nob for the PK.

I think he said in another thread he doesn't have the codex yet, but will be getting it soon, right now he's hammering out the details of a good army list.

I have a codex via computer.
I'm figuring out if like the point value is different from an ordinary Nob, to a Boy upgraded to a Nob.

The point value is different. You upgrade a Boy to a Nob for +10 points, so you pay 16 points total.
An individual Nob costs 20 points.
That's before any upgrades.
