Hey the guys over at CNC have got the jump on the new models again. They have the Seekers built with a tutorial and pics on their site. Check it out!Capture and Control: The Lowdown - New Plastic Seekers of Slaanesh Check out the rest of the site while you're at it, there is some pretty good stuff on there.

Nice review - and I rather like them!

I have to agree with the point that the legs of the Daemonettes really should have been sculpted 'bent' to look like they're holding on to the Steed, rather than just hanging there.

Who would've thought that Daemonettes would have rode Seekers 'dead fish' style?!?

+1 - Really liked the way the daemonetters rode the seekers on the previous model. Overall scultping on the plastic daemon cavalry is pretty good, but the interaction between rider and steed (see also Bloodcrusher IMO) is weak.

I've noticed this issue come up GW cav models frequently. The sculptor fails to properly frame the rider or the mount is posed wrong. They made the same mistake for the canis wolf guy.

Hmm, those look a lot better than I thought they would. Why can't the horrors look that good.

The only real problem I have is from a WHFB gaming point of view. With so much overhang at front and back, how are they ment to rank up in multiple ranks?

I have never been a fan of the new plastic daemonettes. However, the steeds look great and will come in great use for my Cult of Slaanesh Dark Elf mounted Sorceress conversions, much easier to play with than the OOP Metal Steeds. If only they didn't look as stiff as the Cold One Knights... the Knights have armor and stirrups to warrant the legs-down approach at least a little bit more.

VERY good point there!

And matching them up base to base with your opponent could be fun too!

Is there still a DE Cult of Slaanesh?

Those pictures really need better lighting. Apart from that, I completely agree with both his complaints about the look of the new models.
