GW prize support was great this year, here is what came in the box.

24 killer kans (8 boxes)
4 battlewagons
10 Meganobz
Ghaz
10 Nobz
4 army boxed sets that include
80 boyz, I already own 20 boys so I have 100 boyz, well it's actually 90 boyz and 10 nobz.
4 truks
12 bikers.

I'm going to combine the bikers with the nobz and make nob bikers.
I'm also going to convert 2 nobz into big meks

I can only use 3 boxes of kans in a non apoc game, so I'm going to try to trade 2 kans for deffdreads to do a dread bash and trade 3 kans for lootas/burnas.
I'm probably also going to buy a few deffkoptas

Anyhow I'm eventually going to have a kan list and a battlewagon list, but I'm going to build the battlewagon list 1st because I already have all the units required.

The theme of my army is going to be a deff skullz that successfully looted an imperial treasury of a lot of gold. They soon realized that gold has 3 good orky uses.

#1: "It's as eavy as lead, and gud fer krushin tings." 3 words to describe my army Solid Gold Deffrollers Silly humies hiding all that gold in a vault when it could be crushing gits.

#2: The humies want it back. With all that stolen gold in the warband the orks quickly learned as long as they have the gold imperial forces and other silly gits will come to the warband looking for a fight. What more can an ork ask for in life?

#3: It's shiney. What can possibly be more fun than crushing gits under the massive weight of a deffroller? Crushing gits under the massive weight of a shiney gold deffroller.

Anyhow here is a rough draft of what my 2,000 list will be.

2 Big meks with KFF, PKlaw, and bosspole
1 Mob of 7 mega nobs in a bwagon with a deffrolla, red paint job, grot riggers, 2 big shootas.
3 mobs of truk boyz with Pklaw nobs, rokkits, and rokkits and boarding planks on the truks.
3 mobs of 20 boyz
3 bwagons with a deffrolla, red paint job, grot riggers, 2 big shootas.

It's not the "ultimate pwnzers ork list" but it does seem solid to me.
2 KFF so I can split my army if needed.
6 mobs with 106 boyz for scoring units, all of them mechanized.
4 wagons and 7 meganobs for a hammer.
16 kill points, not good but not as bad as it can get.

An easy alternative to the list is I could drop 1 big mek for Ghas or a mega armored warboss, turn the meganobz to troops, and drop 1 unit of truk boys going down to 1KFF and 14 KP.

That is an impressive haul. 24 Killa Kanz seems excessive but it seems like a lot more than 2.5k in points. It makes me wish I'd played this year.

Yea it's defiantly more than 2.5k points so I can make multiple lists.

I don't think I'm going to be playing 2.5k very often with them, most games will probably be 2k.

I would like 1 good looking themed army for 2k play, and am definitely going to go with a deffroller army for that. Deffskull themed, probably going to go ultramarine or enchanted blue on the vehicles with blue warpaint on the boys and solid gold deffrollers. Maybe some solid gold wrecking balls if I can squeeze some points in also.

Any input on a 3 or 4 wagon list at 2k?

In my friend and I playtesting BW rushes, it seems that 3-4 wagons are great as long as the higher points you play you add many more targets to throw fire. At 1850-2k most people can pop wagons pretty easily. I think Deffkoptas are great for adding that harrassment / wagon-kill avoidance measure. Also, rokkit-buggies.

Right now I'm working on a list with 4 Wagons in it. I have been playing a list with 3 Wagons, 4 Trukks, and if i can some deff koptas. Its been pretty awesome not going to lie...but 4 Wagons=Win =)

Like Zain said, you need some distractions. Deff Koptas are by far the best for this as well as having trukks move 18 inches while your wagons move 12. This creates that "oh gak their almost here" kind of thing which takes some heat off of your wagons.
