My question is do you think I am too heavy on the hunter killers and does Meph really belong in this list or should I be running a generic librarian. Also, what do you think of the list generally?

Well, I'd drop these HK missiles. This gives 100 pts back.
I'd replace Mephiston by a plain Librarian and a Librarian Dread.

I can see the justification for dropping Mephy but why a Libertarian Dread? To provide cover saves to more vehicles?

drop meph for a default lib
add pf and hand flamers to 3 squads and a pf to the last.

now the squads have real bite and you gain a cover save.

otherwise spot on 6x13

Dropping Mephiston and the HKs seems like a good decision. I'd snag a Librarian Dreadnought in a drop pod with Shield of Sanguinius and Blood Lance. Setting up Blood Lance on turn 1 against mech lists can be very devastating. Shield protects your vehicles.

I'd give the normal Librarian Shield and then whatever else of your choice.

I'd also probably rather have TL Lascannons than Assault Cannons on the Razorbacks.

Well, the Libby Dread adds to the AV 13 wall.

Why does everyone want to take out Mephiston? He seems like a great counter attack unit and something to get people out of cover who are dug in and going to ground.

I think you should definitely keep Mephiston!!! He is your only serious assault unit and he needs to be taken out with anti-tank shooting as well, which will already be really busy.

Powerfists are the pits in a 5 man squad, you hit last and are already dead because you have to spread around the wounds...

Also, HKs are great in big numbers, which you have, 10 HKs will really upset someones plans.

I dont think Pfists are worth it on the assault marines. They will get crunched in assault by anything that they need a powerfist to hurt. Mephiston's job is to fly behind the razorback/predator wall and be ready to countercharge.

I would definitely keep the power fists & the assault squads should buff out at 10 per squad.... Really works well splitting them into combat squads versus mech with a melta in each combat squad.

That doesnt make any sense to me. How would this fit with a razorback army like the one I have posted. If I was using jump packers I would agree with you. Did you miss the fact that I am running razorbacks?

Everyones favorite person to hate at YTTH had made a BA mech list, and i emailed him my variation of it, both of which i think work better than this.

Mephiston folds to any psychic defense, without at least wings and sword going off reliably hes very easy to play around. Also your razorbacks are way too expensive, whats so great about the BA one is fast and cheap, let other things open the mech. basically every 3 weapons + hkm's = almost another razorsquad equipped as list shows later.

For true mechspam for ba this is what i would run. (Although i usually only run jump pack spam, as i had 50 assault marines lying around anyways ... lol)

typhoons could be replaced with MM speeders to save 30 pts each, or cut and replaced with 2 baalpreds and either some power weapons/sponsons for baals.

I dont understand the love with the TLHF razorback. Without an HK, it cannot do anything until you de-mech your opponent.
