beast's of War's gushing over eighth edition has made me interested in fantasy for the first time since I started with GW, now when Mantic get on to either Orcs or Lizardmen I may pursue that interest.

I am right, the news came from his own lips. He said that he was going to write the rules for the Mantic game.

I'm very willing to try a few mass battle game, especially at Mantic's prices and quality.

And it's the best of both worlds really. Mantic minis work great in WHFB 8th, so you can probably use those miniatures to play pickup games, and you also get good minis to use for whatever mantic plans to do.

They'll probably show off the new game at GenCon.
