Subject: River trolls to Kroxigors...

Hey all, I'm looking for some advice. I want to convert the new River trolls into kroxigors. Once I adjust the heads (remove ears), they will be close, but they need tails! Any ideas as to appropriate bits?
I do have several cold ones I can chop up, but their tails are a little short and weedy. Less sculpting would be better!
Any other ideas/suggestions to improve the overall look, please share. I'll post pics of the end product if there is any interest. Thanks in advance...

Hmmm.
Greenstuffing/headswapping is a must. Those Cold One heads would be useful.
The only obstacle I see is that they're a little fat, those river trolls. But other than that, yes, using the cold one heads/tails should do fine. Post piccies if you can =P

Thanks for commenting! I know, they are fat. But I kind of like it.
I was playing around with a cold one head, and its too small to use unmodified. But check this out: I will use the top of the cold one head, and use the bottom jaw from the troll. Then I can probably get away with greenstuffing gaps only. That alleviates the big troll nose look, makes it look more lizardly, and is more fitting in scale.
I am going to cheat for two of the three heads, because I was able to get two of the new kroxigor heads off of ebay. Comparing an unbuilt metal krox to the troll body, this will work great.
I'm still debating what to do for tails...

Or just invent a new species, Jungle Trolls, who count as Kroxigors. If you can make them look a bit lizardish as you've described, great, but otherwise don't bother, fliuffwise they're just an allied species who also live in the jungles. So long as you can equip them with Lizardman-style weapons (and Lizardman-style gold and jade jewellery etc would also look good) then they'll look fine alongside the lizards.

The above is very, very creative, I like it.
I was going to say to use cold one heads and tails, but the above post blew me away!

If you can get your hands on the old plastic Cold Ones, those have fatter heads that might work better.

Again thanks all for the feedback and encouragement!
@Aduro- I had one chubby cold one sitting around, so used its tail. The head was better, but still on the small side.
@Clang- yeah I thought about simply painting them to match my other lizards, but wanted to lizard them up a bit.
So my original plan was scaled back... I just added the cold one nose for 2 of the troxigors. The third, I got really wild... A spare stegadon head got filed and chopped to fit. Anyway on to the pics! Please note these are WIP. More GS is needed, especially for the necks.
Here is the whole set:
Close ups:
This one, the champion, was made from a leftover stegadon head... I love how he is emanating a total turtle vibe.
