so the list is made with theme too be like Ungrol, outcasts that have mutated into the Massivley (under) powerd UNGORS!!!!!!

and totem of rust, aslongf as hes not within 6" of my lord thats fine.

im modeling the harpies out of ungors with harpiuee wings, and im using the bear from the bearhandler citozen of the empire for my beast lord, take some modeling to take the man off but totall worth it!

Your lord is good besides the brass cleaver, which is terrible on a beastlord/Wargor. Swap them out for The Steel Claws.

Drop the channeling staff for a dispel scroll, and you have to tell me what lore he is taking in 8th. You decide WITH your list.

Totem of Rust just negates all your armor from shields on your ungors. Drop it, and give him some armour instead and a great weapon. I'd switch the dawnstone and gnarled hide onto your wargor, along with the Dragonhelm, paired with heavy armor and a regular shield, you got a damn 'ard BSB model, and you'll need him to stay alive.

I'd then give your beastlord an enchanted shield, giving him a nice 2+ save.

You could consider dropping the gouge tusks and not taking the steel claws for the Stonecrusher Mace.

You don't need 10. Just take 2 units of 5 if you must, I find only 1 unit is necessary.

I'd switch out the giant for a Ghorgon, IMO. I don't really like double rare monsters either, since its over 1/4 of your list in two monsters. Just personal preference at that points level.

on my lord, if i took claws then that would get rid of my shield, as it requires two hands.

by switching through all this wargear to my wargor, isnt taht underpowering my lord?

i will put them in 5s, i agree definatley better

and what magic banner would you suggest instead of banner of rust, i thought it was a good idea, as theyed lose their save against mots combats anyway

and id use Lore of beasts.

would everbleed be any good on my Lord? instead or Brass cleaver?

and i cant afford in % the ghorgon instead of giant.

I rather like the list, although I'm not really sure about ungors in large blocks.

My real question is: which army are you going to start? I've seen quite a few lists for different armies, have you decided on one?

well ritides, im currently halfway through my brettonia, and and im doing this one after them.
but im currently writting a series of short stories to back my empire up, which is more of a modeling project.
so its ok lol.
(and ill be doing a small dryad force at some point, again more of a side proj...)

If you want the same effects as the totem of rust but don't want to negate your own armour then take the Razor Standard. OK it only effects the unit its in, giving them Armour Piercing, but its 45pts (5pts cheaper) and you don't negate your own save.

Really what you need is a DoomBull with ...
Axes of Khorgor, Ramhorn helm, Dawn stone, gnarled Hide and Heavy armour. He re-rolls to hit's, rerolls his save and best of all when ever he makes his save in combat he gets to attack again. Also quite like the Sword of Swift Slaying which normally lets the DoomBull reroll to hit but gives him ASF.

Then again there's always the total defensive build ...
Tricksters Helm, DawnStone, Gnarled Hide, Shield and Heavy armour. The enemy must re-roll successful wounds, you get a re-roll to make your +1 armour save and you have a 6+ parry save. Tried this and bar one or two special magic weapons (normally 100pts, auto wounds no armour save) this lord just ignores most peoples attacks.

Would try to avoid being hit by anything S8+ (or S7+ with armour piercing) but otherwise he's nearly unkillable (in a unit with magic resistance)

He really doesn't need a Doombull. Honestly, I'd think two Gorebulls in those big ungor blocks would be really great, one of them being a BSB, combined with a Beastlord for LD9.

I'm confused at the general construction behind this list.

Two big ungor blocks, some ungor raiders, and two big beasties, along with a lord and some heroes.

The ungor's won't be killing anything very easiliy, and just get stomped by any elite units. The giant is fine, but unpredictable.

The jabber is good, it's just not that great at combat.

You have anvils, you just need hammers.

ok guys i compleatley understand the gorebull ideas, but this is an ungor themed army, so they wouldnt fit, so with the units im about to list, what would you recomend?

Right, neither the doombull nor the gorebulls would fit the them... and they can be targetted out of the unit (no "Look out, sir!") so I don't think they're a very good idea for this list.

The reason I commented on the large blocks is that ungors are not that great in combat... so you've got large blocks that will probably be stubborn and stick around, but nothing to hit the enemy with while they're stuck fighting you.

I think this is where the comments above are coming from, as well. You need something a little harder hitting to go with all those ungors!! Perhaps some chariots would be a good idea for counter-charges, or razorgors.

ok guys i relised, that having totem of rust alongside my lord taht relies on passing saves to get uber attacks may not be the best option, so heres my revamped list taking ideas into account!

I would drop the unit of 9 harpies for 2 spawn. They can be a bit random but for their points are great for holding up enemy units in combat. Maybe put your ungor units down to 40? If you have the models maybe have some basic chaos hounds. 10 of them to throw ahead as shock troops and flank hitting. Since ungors are the dregs of a beastman force I would imagine them using the other castoffs and non elite resources available to them. Maybe put a razorgor herd in? Also halfhorns in raider units are meh for their points. Might be good to drop them. Ive always seen raiders as expendable missile cover screen. I also agree on removing channeling staff maybe for a dispel scroll as insurance versus heavy magic armies.
