So I gathered most of what I know about playing Daemons from how one of the locals player uses his.
After watching him and reviewing the Daemonic Assault portion of the Chaos Daemon's Codex I'm left with a question.
When Daemons arrive via deep strike during first turn all the little buggers scatter out and do their thing.
As second turn rolls around I find my problem.
Option 1) The second half of the army that did not arrive in the first turn will deep strike into play at the start of turn 2.
Option 2) Each unit in the second half of the army will roll for reserves and come into play granted that they pass their reserve roll.
I like the idea of all of the daemons entering on the second turn, but I could understand the second option being the truth of things when I read it directly from the Codex.

I think that demonic assault uses the same wording as drop pod assault. Which is that you roll for the remaining units/models like normal. So you use the reserves rules for that. Which means one for one, not all for one.

The first wave comes as listed in the Daemonic Assault rule, then the rest come in separately as normal Deep Striking reserves, starting on turn 2.

The Chaos Daemons Codex is very Clear on the Subject: "The remaining units are held in reserve and their arrival is rolled for as normal. When a unit becomes available, it enters play by Deep Strike."
Very, very Clear that the units in the remaining half come in piecemeal.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
