my friend and me played a macth the other day and his ork army killed my space marine army by turn 3
this is what he had

2 stompas
4 squads of ork boyz with 20 in each
3 meganobz
5 nobz
1 trukk
2 warbuggies
1 ork warboss
3 ork deffkoptas
and 1 looted battlewagon

what should i do?? please help!!!

It will also help if you list what you used in the game as we can better point you in the right direction.

yes it was apoc my army was:

6 10man space marine squads
1 spacemarine commader
1 assult squad
1 landraider with those massive flamers
2 rhinos
1 termanatoir squad
2 devastor squads
1 scout squad
1 attack bike
and 1 drednaught

that was my whole collection vs my friends whole collection

how about taking some of your own apoc gear? A nice Ravenwing/Deathwing force org would do well I think. How about a spearhead of Vidicators.

A couple of terminator squads with TH and AC/chainfist would do well landing right next to a stompa with the help of some raven wing squads. While the rest of your army should be designed against the rest of his army Hence Vindicator spearheads. Whirlwinds may be nice but won't do much to the squads of Nobs.

Bring lots of att. bikes with MM on them, LC dev squads, Speeders with AC/HB or maybe HF. Some space marine Masters and/or Marneus Calgar.

So? Its easy to convert a non-Dark Angels Chapter into a Dark Angels Chapter, all you need is alot of green paint!

2 words: Warhound Titan...

But on a more serious note, you need Destroyer weapons to take down those Stompas easily. I would recommend a Shadowsword, or you could load up on a few Titanhammer Squads.

Also you should get a Suppression Force. The Whirlwinds can have unlimited range and precise accuraccy, and Orks really do not like that Ap4 at all!

If your playing apoc there is no limit to number of choices you can make on the ORG chart
Follow these steps to greatly improve your chances of wining.

1) Take witchhunters as an ally. Spend 1400 points on them as an ally
2) Buy 20 Lance Orbital Strike's as part of your army. These are in heavy support for witchunters.
3) Take the strategic asset that lets you bring in your reserves on turn 1.
4) Wipe out many orks

Never expect to play that person again, as you will be labeled 'cheeze monkey'

Yeah...you see, that Lance Tactic only works if he bunches all his Orks into deep cover, and then all the strikes are accurate...

Its really a win-win.
He loses all cover on his side of the board, which means your long ranged shooting can tear him up.
Also, they scatter easily onto areas around cover too, so being anywhere near any terrain becomes risky.

yeah i think thats the problem there, i don't play orks, but honestly it looks like the ork player might have had more pts on the table than you
