My LGS has a 24 point Mangled Metal tourney coming up, so I thought I'd bring Searforge.

Pretty straight-forward. I bring in the Drillers for heavy 'jack popping and the Rockram+Gunners for ranged support and assassination (if the situation calls for it). I know Gorten's pretty strapped for Focus already and with this many 'jacks he'll never be able to camp Focus or cast too many spells, but with clever use of SoG and Landslide I think I can make it work. I was also trying to get a Basher into the list, but I don't know the points-cost of the Basher so I can't really add him into the mix yet. I wanted one for the disruption capability.

I actually have 5 points left that I don't know what to do with. I could probably get another Gunner but I've heard that two Gunners is usually enough.

You want Herne and Jonne for 3 and Thor for 2.

H&J give you some artillery.

Thor has Tune Up to help you run your jacks.

mangled metal tourneys are just jacks and casters.

OT your list looks pretty good, i like to have a bit ranged in my lists and i would prolly run madhammer myself, but you should do well with gorten.

a T1 Madhammer list would be:

Madhammer

- avalancher (-1 pt)
- gunner
- driller
- driller
- rockram

madhammer as an AP shot that can hurt jacks pretty well with a boost. hr can use explosivo on the 2 non AOE jacks so they can get boosted attack rolls from madhammer's feat. one jack could get redline making it spd 6, the other can run D with durgen. you can also use inhospotable ground to screw with the enemy, since terrain manipualtion is at a minimum in most MM events.
