would it be possible to play and Inquisitor match on the same board as a 40k or even apoc game was taking place, and large events in each different match affect the other. Also, situations like, inquisitors having to hide from enemy squads, making their way towards a goal that will either win the game or change something within the larger 40k game, would this be possible/fun? (i like to think so)

It's doable.
I remember that the original warhammer fantasy roleplay had crossover charts to tell you what stats would be once crossed over.
Perhaps you could make somethinng similar. (Or perhaps something like that already exists.)

Expect my posts to have a bazillion edits. I miss out letters, words, sometimes even entire sentences in my points and posts.

i hope so, as that would be really interesting, having a massive apoc game, all hinging on these small bands of characters fighting it out over an objective

that would be cool and a reason to add some realy speacil figures into your forces, but the small bnand having big effects could draw the fire of every enemy nearby.

On a boat, Trying not to die.

I think there is a thing like that at GD. It's a Aeronautica Imperialis game that directly affects a huge apoc game.

Every Normal Man Must Be Tempted At Times To Spit On His Hands, Hoist That Black Flag, And Begin Slitting Throats.

I always wanted to play Aeronautica Imperalis but never made it.

You can do Inq with 40K models. I believe you need to adjust the movement down and shooting ranges on a few things and it will work.

Or look at my signature. We have embarked on something similiar.

Just use a smaller measurement for "yards".
Instead of 1"=1 yd, go with 1/2" or 1cm=1yd.

Go smaller table also (otherwise games will take forever.)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

This is exactly what I have done in the past, using Inquisitor 'rules' with 28mm models and inches converted to centimetres.

My friends have recently used =I=Munda for events happening in Apocalypse games and campaigns.

I'd suggest you look into that.
