I have been working on a blood angel army and was curious what people thought.
Mephiston
Furioso librarian, pod, lance, might

Sanquanary priest, jump pack, power weapon

10 assault marines, fist, 2x melta

Vindicator, dozer blades
Vindicator, dozer blades
6 devastator marines, pod, 3x missiles
The idea is that if i go second the vidis deploy in cover with the devastators hiding mephiston. The dreads come in turn 1 and the enemy is left with only AV 13 to deal with for a turn while I try to pop vehicles.
Turn 2 the assault marines start dropping and mepiston and the dreads try to tie up anything that could shoot the marines dead.
If I get first turn the army will do the same thing or deploy on the table and bum rush forward depending on the quantity and quality of their anti-infantry

Well, looks quite good.
However, I'd replace all HS selections by Predators, just as can openers.

I agree with Wuestenfex on the Predators.
Mephiston also seems hard to protect in this list as there isn't much for him to hide behind. He can grab cover from your infantry but that doesn't completely save him. My testing with Mephiston has been really touch and go in general... it seems like if the other player has a psychic hood or runes that he just doesn't do much. I loved him at the start, now I'm not so sure about him.
Dante might actually be really cool in this list as he will let you land an Assault Squad with no scatter and bring melta death onto anything you want basically.

Both pods will land on turn 1 because the devs have a pod that will be dropped empty later in the game

Hmmm
Part of the reason for the vindies is to use them as cover for mehpiston. I will look into ditching them for predators but they will still have to advance to cover the big guy the first turn or two.
Perhaps if I drop him out entirely then the pread switch could work out well. Haven't really played with him much, curious how he will do.

sometimes Mephiston will wreck house and kill an army on his own basically. Others though, he will be kept in check by a Psychic Hood or something with a similar effect. He isn't necessarily a bad choice at all. I think it depends more on the rest of the list for if he fits in correctly than anything. I personally wouldn't play him in a list like this. He isn't protected enough early on IMO.
Also maybe look at Shield on one of your Libby Dreads... if you land Assault Marines near them then you can buff them with cover, and it can help protect the Dread himself if need be. Might is REALLY good on them though, so its hard to say if it is worthwhile.
I'd maybe look at finding the points for Infernus Pistols on your Sarges and maybe Priests too. 3 melta is the magic number for reliability when it comes to tank busting.

yea, i was looking for those points but it got tight. Perhaps a missile marine from the devs and the dozer blades but driving two vindies through cover 12in a turn im going to immobilize one of em quick.
