Hi I've recently aquired 50 large and 35 small magnets [roughly a centimeter, and a mm for the smaller one.]
for $15 (from a friend.)

Okay! some questions:
Any general [AU QLD] shops that sell such small magnets [i.e. mitre ten, hardware] or any cheap specialists.

What is the process?
So far for the smaller ones and arms, I've clued in to it being drill a small hole in the center, GS OEq. inside it and shove a magnet in, then seal it with a small layer of superglue. [any better methods?] And due to their strength, [they stay in plae between my hand!] it shouldn't diminish the strength too much.

any better methods?

tips appreciated!

I pick up my magnets from electronics stores. Find some specialist electronics places and they should have them.

I got mine from a marketplace merchant in the german Amazon (some kind of hobby shop). I use the same method - drill a hole, glue or green stuff it in and seal with a thin layer of glue to prevent the magnets from getting damaged or pulled out (I use quite strong magnets - about 80g-100g of pull for the 2mm magnets ).

In my experience it is good if the drilled hole has the exact size of the magnet or is even about 0.1mm smaller (you might need a little tool to force the magnet into the hole) the tight fit keeps the magnet from turning / dislocating while the glue is still wet.

I measured them with a hobby ruler, they're exactly 1 millimeter, and the drill is exactly 1 mm. = D
