Had a brainwave about this. In the previous codex it specifically stated that ripper swarms could never hold objectives or count as scoring. In the new codex I can't find (which doesn't mean it doesn't exist) any rule like that. Ditto in the BRB for swarms in general.
Do they score now? That would be rather rad.

No they don't, the entry that prevents them should be in the missions section of the BRB that describe what is scoring and what is not.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

It says in the codex under the special rules. "mindless" prevents them from being scoring units.

Yup, there's bullet points saying:
A unit cannot score if:
It is a vehicle
It is a swarm

How about we not have a go at people for asking questions? For the record, I haven't seen this come up for some time.

This is also off topic and not necessary. If you see a problem post, hit the alert button and let the mods deal with it. Taking it on yourself to tell the poster off as often as not just kicks off the thread's descent into madness.
Asked, answered, and dragged off into the wilderness. Thread is done.
