Hey guys everyone has their favorite type of model to paint, For Instance my favorite type of model to paint is Blood Angel's Death Company, Just Wondering what everyone else likes. They can be conversions to, go nuts with it, post pictures, show conversion steps, whatever! HAHA

i have to pick a couple, having painted every miniature currently available in GW stores, Sisters of Battle, Plastic LOTR undead dude things, Wraith guard, hormagaunts,

My deamon prince
and my land raiders

The deamon was more fun to paint than the land raiders but the land raiders were more fun to build cuz of the nurglification.

I like painting ork vehicles.

My favourite models to paint by far have been Squats. Because they are nearly all hands and beard. This allows you to spend much less time (and paint) on tedious stuff like base coating, and get straight into details (which is really all a squat is).

They are so easy to paint that I finished my squat army almost by accident, rather than through effort. I highly recommend them.

However that does not make them any less my favourite models to paint. Not to mention space dwarfs are alive and kicking in many other war games, including 40k RT and 2nd ed.

And thankfully there is no minimum height requirement for joining the IG

I like painting my bane thralls. That and the necro vents on my jacks.

I'd say models that I sculpted, or sculpted onto, as It is more unique than a store bought model.

I actually converted a few dwarves into squats. i really enjoyed painting them wouldnt say it was my favorite though

as cliche as it is, Space Marines are my favorite minis to paint, especially Space Wolves...

I loved painting my two Dreadnoughts, and the SH Librarian was great too. Basically I like anything with a LOT of detail in the sculpt. Things like that virtually paint themselves.

In fact I'm looking forward to painting the rest of the SH Termies.

Space Hulk was a fun one
