Hey, I haven't been playing this for all that long and was just wondering if the lists I wanna run would be any good or not. It's mainly just the models I'm interested in painting that I'm using, but I still want to actually have a decent chance of doing well in games.
35 pts. (I wasn't sure if putting the point costs was allowed so I went ahead and played it safe.)
Warwitch Deneghra
Deathripper
Deathripper
Slayer
Skarlock Thrall
Bane Thralls (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Bane Thrall Officer & Standard3
Mechanithralls (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Necrosurgeon & 3 Stitch Thralls
The Withershadow Combine
Bane Lord Tartarus
25 pts.
Warwitch Deneghra
Deathripper
Deathripper
Slayer
Skarlock Thrall
Bane Thralls (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Bane Thrall Officer & Standard
Mechanithralls (Leader and 9 Grunts)
1 Brute Thrall
I can obviously build different lists from the models I plan to buy but these were two I was interesting in trying out. Just tell me what you think!

Both lists look quite solid and should work well. It's just... Well - it may be only me but I'd really try to squeeze one more arcnode there. Denny loves spellslinging and taking only two bonechickens seem to be not enough. But you should try both lists as they are now first. Maybe they'll work for you.

thanks for the reply. I've been running 3 arcnodes lately pretty well, but it usually seems like one ends up going to waste. I wanted to see what would happen if I gave my self a little bit more damage capability.

2 can work fine. the 3rd and even 4th are more to set youre opponent under pressure. When you have 3 or (heavens forbid) 4 then you have 4 angles for planning a assasination. that is a lot for the opponent to consider.
In this case however there is nothing wrong with the list as IS IMHO and I have run a few lists that are somewhat similar. They work and they look very nice (shambling undead zombie horde for the win

that's true. Having three IS useful. My main opponent is one of my friends who runs pKreoss with zealots and deliverers to really lay down the hurt with those ranged AOE's on his feat turn. How do you think that a list like this will do against that since I have a lot more units than 'jacks.

mm, that is a though one.. They do not hit a lot of the list if they are outside of 5", but they can kill a large part of your army when it is knocked down (commonly referred to as the pop & drop)
I think you have to get the drop on him to be succesfull. This is what the bonejacks are for. Run up and do a venom or 2 on the zealots and crippling grasp a jack (or maybe the deliverers as it would make them incapable of making their special attack).
Do you have any clue as to the rest of his list? What jacks and what solo's are also used??
