Which faction are you looking at?

There are huge size differences between some of them.

Khador have the biggest most brutal looking ones (with feth-off cannons, too), followed by Menoth and the Cryx and Cygnar tend towards the skinny and scrawny.

I've got some Cygnar stuff I can compare to a SM - two lights and a heavy (Ironclad).

They are a fair bit smaller than a dread, though. Unless you are going for one of the epic khador heavies - which tend to outweigh even the 2nd ed METAL SM dread (the one that looks like the plastic one, only it was metal).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

To be honest i havn't got a clue as to the size of any of them. If they were the right kind of size i was goign to look into using one as a dread fro my IW army....so ideally it woudl need to look more industrial than organic if you get my meaning.

That rules out Cryx then.

They tend to have a decayed organic look.

You'd be looking at Khador or Menoth then.
Probably a Khador Juggernaut - like this one.

That's on a 50mm round base.

Or a Behemoth:

Or the PLASTIC (ABS, needs superglue, not plastic glue) Heavy kit. The ghostly '30mm' for scale is the base size, but it's also around 32-35mm high (including base).

All of these heavies are on the 50mm bases (WM has 30mm for infantry and light jacks, and 50s for heavy generally).

Thanks. Pics didn't work on my work computre but i've the names for a google image search.

The Juggernaught could be good for a Twin CCW dread.

I guess if i used the Behemoth i coudl have the big shoulder cannons count as a TL-Lascannon.

Ah, looking at the Privateer Press website it appears that you can get abox set with parts to build a Marauder, Decimator, Juggernought or Destroyer. Might have a look at that. I like the look of the big rip-saw on the Decimator.

That's the plastic heavy kit.

It's a little smaller (and the last pic in my post is of one variation used). All of the plastics are slightly smaller than their metal counterparts.

The Epic jugger is even bigger.
About 3" tall and about a kilogram.

If you're going for khador, and a 2 CC dread, take a look at the Bezerker and Drago (Character Beserker Jack), they've got Axe Crazy down to a science, including restraing chains...

<Rarity> I am not whining, I am complaining! Do you want to hear whining?

Thiiis is whiiiiining! Oooo, this mini is too expeennsive! I'm' going brrookee! Can't you make it cheaper? Oh, it's resin and not metal anymore! Why didn't you take it off the sprue first? That's gonna leave a pour spout, and the FLGS is so far away, WHY DO I HAVE TO SUPPORT IIIIIIIT?! </Rairty>
