So im looking to beef up my apocolypse SM, and I just wanted a little clarification as I have been looking to add a little heavy support to my force, yet would love to add more then just a landraider crusader/redeemer. Im wondering if you can combine superheavy IG tanks from FW to a SM force or is that completely illegal?

Yes in apoc that is allowed. In apoc you can use whatever you want. You could use an eldar titan and 2 nid bio titans with your SM if you wanted to. Apoc is pretty open when it comes to what you can field in your army.

From a fluff point of view it even makes sense for an IG super heavy tank to support marines.

Also, marines used to use Super Heavy tanks back in the legion days.
some Former legions might still have their old tanks.
i can't remember what they were called then though.

As has been said, IG tanks supporting Marines in Apoc is fine from a fluff stand point and rules. I've included Leman Russ Battle Tanks with my marines before in an Apoc game.
I might throw in the 100 ork data sheet in one game (Da Green tide!) to support my marines.

Theres a datasheet for a baneblade called a Fellblade, it is a space marine legion baneblade, with some nifty stuff like machine spirit.

Machine spirit would be pointless. Super heavies can already shoot every gun at a different target.

But the stuns are applied to individual guns on super heavies. It would have to be "a different type of machine spirit." POTMS allows the vehicle to fire one more gun than normally allowed.

which would cover you as you wouldn't be "allowed" to shoot a stunned gun or make a normal move.
