So, have a friend who is trying to finish up his Space Wolves force.
Looking at getting some Long Fangs to round it out.
Wants Missile Launchers.
Looked at the Devastator squad box.
-One- Missile Launcher in the box.
Is there an easier way to do this? Or do you just end up with a ton of Devastators with the wrong weapons to get a few of the right ones?

You can bits order them from sites like this. Kinda expensive, but less so than buying more Devastator boxes just for the missile launcher.

You can always convert spare HK missiles

Can't say as I've ever seen many marine players actually build the ML from the tac marine box. Most seem to add a different weapon. Lord know I have a foot deep pile of unused ML's. Ask around where you play. You can probably get as many as you need.

You usually get lots of missile launchers on the tank sprue, my friend regularly converts these so that they are usable to be equiped to troops. So if your friends modelling and green stuff skills are up to scratch he/she might be able to do the same

Every "Sergeant" sprue (the one with the tabards, Sergeant heads, etc) comes with one, actually, along with a flamer and a plasma gun IIRC. So if you have any spare Tac, Dev, or Assault boxes laying around, they should all have Missile Launchers.

Talk to literally any other Space Marine player. They'll have a bunch of spare ones, as every tac squad comes with one.

You may also find some Dakkites kind enough to send you some. I was in need of some Flamers and someone (Erasoketa) was kind enough to send me four! From Spain!

so yeah, ask around, otherwise sites such as bitsbox have some.

This is your single-handedly best option, outside of trading. I got 4x Plasma Cannons and their associated bits for my DA Successor Chapter through the Warstore/Battlewagon Bits.

Mostly there are many on ebay, too.

Ebay's going to rip you the hell off. Can you get them for cheap?

Every once in awhile, sure. But then you have to worry about someone also bumping up the price to the point where you might be paying $8-$10 for a single ML.
