Hi,

I'd lake to make the Suggestion that from hereonin, the Swap Shop Topics are sorted into Sections based on Location. This will make it easier for me to find Trades in my Country, rather than having to Click and Open Topics to find out, because some people do not put [UK] or [US] on their Topics. I'm not sure how it would be done for existing Topics, but hey, it's just an idea. You're the ones who make things work.

Most trades are in US and UK, which means I never got to deal in my country. When I see a country tag it usually means the person isn't ready to deal internationally and I avoid those, that's all. The current forum work marvels as there many person willing to deal internationally.

Actually, the country tags were supposed to be compulsory so that people who didn't want to deal with international trades could avoid the threads. I'm still kind of amazed by the different ways people see the tags, though.

While the idea of subforums isn't such a bad idea perse, I doubt there's nearly enough traffic in the Swap Shop to warrant it, and I'm sure the many people who don't care about international shipping would complain that they've been given an extra step in surfing through listings.

That said, I'll try to be a bit more vigilant with editing titles to reflect countries of origin, but considering that about 60%+ of people don't list the damn country, I and the other Swap Mods get a bit worn out from making the edits all the time.

Dakka does have some of the highest influx of traders/sellers in Warhammer miniatures outside of ebay, Craigslist, and Amazon (all professional sites or sites with greater traffic than Dakka).

Thanks, Jin. Is there no way to Automatically Display the Country Flag that appears next to our Usernames? That said, they can be wrong some times. I think mine still thinks I'm Polish. Oh well.

Cheers,

Maybe have a rule in place like they put the country in the title, then specify if it's only going to be in that country or if it's going to be international; which ever is used the least. Then just assume the most common as it's easier to label the rarer ones.
